I am about to go uot and buy some hot curlers. By the time i get them and put them in my hair I will have 2 hours to keep them in. I have relaxed african american hair and it's dry. This is going ot be a one time thing so will my hair look okay and not be damaged if I put hot curlers on my dry hair? BTW I just greased/oiled my hair two day's ago.

Yes it will damage your hair even further. The best thing to do for you hair get rid of the damage is when you wash it, use a deep conditioner. Also make sure that your hair is trimmed. The reason is your hair will only get worser if you do not professional cut those damages ends. Also yo would want to start roller setting your hair. I know is sound weird, but sitting under a dryer to set you curles is better than using a curling iron of hot curlers eveyday. Also when you set your hair your curles will last at least 6 days, then you wash your hair again on the seventh day and start the process all over again. I stop using grease for my hair. It just took the volume and life out of my hair. But I do oil my hair. OIl is important for your hair, but mosturizer is also just as important.
