African American hair question.........?

Ok, I've discovered that if I rinse my hair with warm water in the shower every morning, at the end of the week I don't need to wash my hair........................is this heatly for my hair if I don't shampoo it but just rinse it with warm water every morning.

P.S.---------(I usually put in olive oil after I rinse it and then rinse it out again)

African American hair question.........?

i dont see why it wouldn't. chemicals strips hair of its natural oils. i love the olive oil products as well. even if your hair isn't completely dirt free it should still be healthy.

i treat my hair similar except i wash it with olive-oil shampoo once every week and a half. mine grows thick and appears healthy.

African American hair question.........?

Everyone's hair is different, but I don't think you can ever replace washing your hair with just rinsing.

African American hair question.........?

That is fine, due to the fact that you are using olive oil. Olive oil is good for the hair and the skin. Its has minerals that stimulate the scalp, and prevents damage. I would say continue to rinse it and use olive oil, but every week or so.. wash it with shampoo, and use the olive oil as a additive once your hair is washed.

African American hair question.........?

So what is your quesation?

African Americans only suppose to wash their hair every 10-12 days. The reason why shampoos drues out our hair causes us to loose our natural oils from our hair.
