I wash my hair twice a week with Silk Element Shampoo and Conditioner and I perm my hair every 4 weeks. i have shoulder length hair what can I don't to make it longer or make my perm last longer?

We don't need to wash our hair so often. Once a week should be the most. Washing it too much will take out the natural oils. Silk elements are good products. Wash once a week, set or flat iron, then wrap with a silk scarf. I think ur getting ur relaxers too close together. Relaxing too soon will overprocess the hair and it will becom brittle and maybe fall out. The longer u wait the better. 6 weeks is good time, but it is according to ur newgrow. Also after every relaxer, clip your ends, this will help your hair to continue to grow.

you wash it too much and perm it too often, it' s okay to do touch ups like every couple months but you should wash no more than 1 a week, every two weeks or longer would be better and the perm would last longer. make sure your using a good deep conditioner. and keep it moisturized, try pantene, relaxed and natural products they work good.

Might sound weird coming from a white girl but it sounds like you are doing everything right. Just keep grease in it so it stays moisturized and won't pop off. Cut the ends and it will stimulate growth. Yeah, you don't have to wash it that much either.

First of all you are only suppose to retouch the new growth which means from the scalp about inch, you are washing your hair too much it is stripping all the natural oils from your hair. You are over processing your hair,Your suppose to wash your hair every two weeks.

Give your self hot oil treatments so that your hair can become more stronger.

I perm every 3-4 wks but that's cause my hair is short.I wash once every two weeks and deep condition also.Maybe the perm doesn't last as long because with our hair type after awhile our hair gets used to the same perm so it doesn't work as well.You should switch it at least every 6 months.To make the hair longer you should trim the ends at least ever 2-3weeks,the trimming helps promote stronger ends and helps it grow longer.
