I bought a CLAIROL Nice'Easy 128 designed for dark hair(that is what the pkg says). It is called Lightest Golden Brown.
It came out very natural on me, and very light and gorgeous.
The peroxide in the box mixed with the color will strip the dark, you will not need anything else.
