About a 2-3 months ago I got highlight. They used bleach but the person who did it said something about it was low 30. I don't know. I always wear my hair down. I just recently realized that one side of my hair is shorter and the middle of my hair is shorter. The middle of my hair has been shorter than the rest for a while. What can I do to even up my hair.

This is the same problem I am experiencing myself. I am to my wits end searching for answers. You give me some kind of confidence by assuring me that yes indeed it was the highlights I had done back in Dec. I regret getting them because now my hair is also short in the back and in the middle scalp. Now mind you, the front in nice and strong. weird, huh! Well, I have trimmed and cut it to kind of masquerade it a bit, since I did not want to have shorter length hair. As far as what to do, I have been told to use a good treatment and not to do anymore highlights. I also would like to stay away from perming my hair. Which I believe will bring more breakage I guess. But the simple truth is that I want to go back to natural, whether it means kinky hair or not.
I am proud of my hair, I just need to nurse it back to health. Also, starting from the inside out is not such idea either. Make sure you drink lots of water and eats lots of protein.
Be patient as I have been told and have read all over the web.
Do keep this in mind.... I know what you are going through.
Remember patience is key. One day we will both reap the benefits of taking good care of our hair. Just keep reminding yourself of it by picturing yourself with beautiful black hair.
