No Babe, it means that you need to buy some kind of oil-based product to apply to your hair. Is your hair dry? That's probably the reason why he or she told you that. You can use a very light hair creme to give your hair the shine and luster it needs without being too oily. An excellent brand is: Olive Oil Hair Creme, it's Organic and won't give you that heavy oily look, just a nice soft and healthy sheen.

Hope this helps. : )

May mean you need to grease your scalp...not real oil or grease...meaning a product like Blue Magic or another scalp dressing product....section your hair and rub a small amount on your scalp, or use a hair oil product.

that means you need to get some hair grease.. try dr miracle's hair grease. it works really good and helps you hair grow its on the expensive end compared to others but its really worth it. put some directly on your scalp when u feel it getting dry. youll knowthe difference when you start doing it. you dont have to "cake" it in you scalp but it is necessary for your hair to stay moisturized and strong. you can use actual oils as well.. olive oil is real good but be careful cuz its easy to use too much. for other hair oils go to your local beauty supply store.. try not to get anything w/ alcohol cuz it will break and damage your hair

Well because us black folks hair is so dry we need something to keep it moisturized. What i have found is Pantene leave in moisturizer for the women of color. If you dont keep it moisturized your hair will begin to break off.
