I have permed hair, it is to my neck. I have very very rough hard hair. I am not mixed both of my parents are black and caribbean. It takes alot for my hair to look presentable. I tried to transition into natural hair but it is to thick and I have not found any products to work with it natural. I rely on perm to tame my hair so that it can be combed and brushed. The only problem is that it can get very dry and it does not take a perm all the way. My hair looks permed but it still is wavy and dull in texture. I would like to know what products that I can use that would work for my hair. I currently perm my hair with dark and lovely, shampoo it with creme of nature and condition it with lutrasilk cholestrol. I do not have a particular grease that I use. I just do not use any with petroleum and mineral oil. I am confused about all of the hair products that are all over. Do any one have a product they stand by that is reasonable in price, and can make your hair shiny and not dull.

get soft and beautiful botanical perm in coarse. its a REALLY good perm. i use it myself. its a strong formula so it should perm it all the way. my sister has the same problem.
